We thought that we would start off with a few small goals and then work up to bigger goals. Its all well and good saying that Raffie wants to be 10 stone 6 and I want to be 13 stone 4 when in actual fact Raffie has 2 and a bit stone to go and I have 3 and a bit stone to move. That sounds a lot. A very lot so we were thinking of little goals first and then setting more distant goals in a month or so when we have our heads around Slimming World eating and getting some miles under our wheels.
First Goal 10% of current weight lost. We are aiming for a steady 1 – 2lbs a week.
Raffie – 19lbs off by Fireworks night
Kenn – 23lbs off by Fireworks night
Goal No. 2 is to cycle 1000 miles as soon as we can. We will keep our stats on this on our blog as we go.
Goal No. 3 is to save for new road bikes as quickly as we can. Raffie got new Giant Defy 2, Kenn now has second hand Sun Solo road bike.
Goal No.4 is to save for reasonable hybrid ‘winter’ bikes as quickly as we can but happy to use our old bikes this winter if necessary.

is for Kenn to fit into size L mens shorts Kenn bought Lidl Medium shorts 5/9/11
Goal No. 6
is for Raffie to fit into size M ladies shorts Size Medium ladies shorts bought 5/9/11
Goal No. 7
is to cycle down Strathfarrar to the loch & back by the end of autumn. That’s 15 miles each way. Its all roadway, not tracks so its easier than cycling around the estate we are lucky enough to live on. August Bank Holiday 29th, there and back.
