From 1st December to 14th January!! Long time no blog.

Over this incredibly lazy 6 weeks we have managed a massive 103 miles!! Neither of us can really believe how lazy and unmotivated we have been with our cycling.
Of course, the high winds have not helped much, throughout December.

We have cycled several times from Church to Norwich and back; from the caravan to Dereham and back and that was really about it. Neither of us wanted to cycle through the wind. It was, on average, taking us 25 minutes to cycle from camp to Dereham town centre, a huge 3.6 miles, while we battled through the wind, getting more miserable by the moment. One the way back, it was a different matter. We got back in 12 minutes one time, it was a very exhilarating ride back.

We have moved camp now and we are a mere 8.5 miles from the city centre, according to the RAC route finder. Cycling into the city or to Church will be much easier now, also we have better roads, not so undulating or so busy. First ride is planned to Church and back on 15th Jan.

About RosieRosie

RosieRosie is a woman of a 'certain age' - whatever the hell that is supposed to mean, known. I feel about 26. I have no idea what I look like as some older woman keeps getting in the way when I look in the mirror. Married, to someone who is a bit indifferent towards me. I have a proper wanderlust and have finally moved - using the housing exchange system from - where I started in Inverness, down to Cornwall. It's taken since September 2011, when I left Inverness until March 2016 to get to Cornwall. That's not too shoddy with a swap here and a swap there, saving up again for each move. I am going to move again though. I can't handle the hills. My knees are 10 years too old for around here. Not ruling out Cornwall in the future but, for now, my riding is suffering. I love my bikes, I love my dogs and I love guitars. They all keep my busy.
